Report: Nationals trade Ferrer to Mariners for Ford

The Washington Nationals are trading left-hander Jose A. Ferrer to the Seattle Mariners for catcher Harry Ford and pitching prospect Isaac Lyon, sources told ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
Ferrer, 25, posted a 4.48 ERA and 8.4 K/9 with 11 saves in 76 1/3 innings for the Nationals last season.
The 22-year-old Ford made eight plate appearances in the majors last season. He was selected 12th overall by the Mariners in the 2021 MLB Draft.
