Report: Orioles finalizing 5-year, $155M deal with Alonso

The Baltimore Orioles have reeled in a superstar.
Baltimore is finalizing a five-year, $155-million contract with first baseman Pete Alonso, sources told ESPN’s Jeff Passan. The deal brings Alonso to Maryland after seven seasons with the New York Mets.
The Boston Red Sox had also been connected to Alonso this winter.
