The Minnesota Twins are going to be in Garrett Crochet‘s nightmares for a long, long time.

Minnesota jumped all over Crochet at Target Field on Monday night, plating 11 runs (10 earned) against the Boston Red Sox ace before he was mercifully pulled after 1 2/3 innings. Crochet, last year’s major-league strikeout leader, didn’t record a strikeout and allowed nine hits while walking three during the disastrous outing.

The Twins scored 4 runs in the first before a seven-run second inning that saw them send 10 men to the plate. Six of the seven runs they scored in the second came before Crochet had recorded an out in the frame. He was finally replaced by Jovani Morán after giving up a titanic solo homer to Ryan Kreidler.

Prior to Monday, Crochet had never given up more than seven runs in a single outing. He had allowed six earned runs on the season entering the contest.
