Tigers sign McGonigle to 8-year extension reportedly worth $150M

The Detroit Tigers and shortstop Kevin McGonigle agreed to an eight-year contract extension that starts in 2027 and goes through 2034, the club announced Wednesday.
McGonigle’s new deal is worth $150 million, sources told Robert Murray of FanSided. The reported contract also includes a $14-million signing bonus and performance escalators.
