Report: Rockies hiring Josh Byrnes as GM

The Colorado Rockies are hiring Josh Byrnes as general manager, sources told The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal.
Byrnes is a former GM of the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres, and most recently worked as vice president of baseball operations for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He will report to Rockies’ president of baseball operations Paul DePodesta, who was named to the role in November.
