Report: Cubs, Hoerner agree to 6-year extension

The Chicago Cubs and second baseman Nico Hoerner agreed to a six-year contract extension, sources told Jesse Rogers of ESPN.
Hoerner would’ve been a free agent at the end of the 2026 season.
